03. Changes to skin and moles
Many of us have moles and they never cause a problem. New moles appearing or any change in size, shape or colour of an existing mole should be checked.
The same advice goes if a mole goes crusty, bleeds, itches or oozes.
If you are fair skinned and have light or red hair, or if you have a family history of skin cancer, you may be more at risk of skin cancer.
If you have a sore on your skin which isn’t healing it too needs checking out.
