You may have irregular bleeding or spotting until the next menstrual bleeding and also the next menstrual bleeding may be unusual.
Next menstrual bleeding is normal and comes at the usual time in most women but it comes sooner or later than usual in others.
If menstrual bleeding comes more than 5 days later or is unusually weak or vice versa unusually strong, it could be due to failure of this method.
