Molluscum contagiosum is a skin infection, with virus being its causative agent. The virus, called the Molluscum contagiosum virus and is contagious..
The symptom are smooth white or flesh-coloured bumps on the skin.
This condition is not serious, and the bumps often resolve on their own without treatment.
